When I need to sight...

When I need to sight my scopes this has become a great tool. My boresight requires that I first sight the scope at 25ft and then at 50 yards when at the range. I never had a range finder so always had to guess. Well I didnt want to do that anymore so on our last range trip, I rented a private section of the range so I can do this with ease. It locked in perfectly and I was able to set targets at specified yards. What I didnt know was the private section of the range already had indicators so I was able to verify its accuracy. It was spot on so for the price... cant complain.

This is a great rangefinder - reasonably priced, easy to use, has all the functions of any higher priced rangefinder. Great purchase! Knowing the slope and yardage difference helped my game tremendously. I was either hitting it too far or coming up short because of wrong club selection. Now that I have this the GPS watch seems less useful. Only downside is that the slope reader cannot be turned off in tournament play which was the least of my worries whenI purchased this but may be problematic in the future. Well worth the price. You wont be disappointed.

A Valued Golfing Tool!

When i got this range finder, my largest issue was changing the distance calculation tool from metric to standard US golf course measurement. TACKLIFE's customer service was GREAT! the answer came back within 12 hours (presumably the company is based in Italy) with the solution. My only criticism of the unit is that this tidbit of knowledge should probably have been in the US (english) instructions! I tested this unit's accuracy against 3 known distanced items and they were within the 39" (1 meter) margin of error!! The instruction book has directions for use in 6 languages (english, German, French, Italian, and (i assume) Chinese. In summary, this unit is definitely worth the money!!

I have used this dev...

I have used this device several times and find it to be very easy to use and very easy to lock onto the pin and get a distance reading. I have friends with other devices and I am able to get a distance reading much faster than most of them. The only thing I have noticed that I dont like is I can shoot the pin several times from the same spot and sometimes get distance variations of 1-2 yards. I have seen the same thing with other range finders so I think this is fairly common. So I dont know how accurate the device is but I am confident it is within 3 yards every time I shoot an object and that is close enough for me. For the price this range finder is fantastic and I would highly recommend.

After about 7-8 rounds it’s safe to say this thing is phenomenal. I’m very glad I looked into the cheaper more budget options rather than going straight for the bushnell’s. Slope feature on something priced like this is amazing. No problems so far. Working just as it’s supposed to after 30+ or so hours on the course. I’m not sure if it’s coincidence or not, but after purchasing I’ve shot my 4 lowest rounds of the summer. Accuracy of course may be maybe 2-4 yards off sometimes as I always compare the yardages with my buddies bushnell’s, but most of the time it’s spot on. Look no further. Buy this rangefinder and get your game better. Due to the price point I do admit I do not leave this in the car or in other places that has the potential to have extreme weather. All worth it.

After several uses, ...

After several uses, I can say this rangefinder is consistent and closely compares with those my friends own from Bushnell to other random cheap brands like this one. Happy with the purchase. I stopped using the slope feature and personally wouldnt pay extra for that again. I dont think it works particularly well unless you play courses with major elevation changes. In Florida, the elevation changes are never enough to matter. Now if this had an accurate wind gauge on it, then wed be talking!

Definitely saving me a few strokes per round. Knowing / judging distance to any object is a game changer! This is really easy to use and I love how the magnet keeps it secure to the cart frame so it’s always accessible! So glad I didn’t waste money on a more expensive brand, this one works great.

I had the previous model and while it was a good deal it had issues. This one takes care of those issue: consistency and ability to turn the slope on and off and still get lock on target. I have had a lot of rangefinders over the years and for the price this is by far the best value. There are two small things that I would change: the wrist band is hard to attach to the rangefinder on but it is not important as you only will do this once the focus is a bit too easy to turn so every time I take it out of my pocket it needs to be adjusted again. I suggest, but have never seen on any rangefinder, a locking or bit tighter adjustment. These are both minor and should not deter as they do not affect the overall performance which I would put up against any other rangefinder

Best Buy for the Money

Originally bought to take with while traveling and playing golf. After using for a month found it to be easier and just as accurate as the range finder I had purchased for over $300. I now use it more than my expensive one and it has more options. Great buy !!!

This is a great RF f...

This is a great RF for themoney, the 6X eyepiece is great, focus adjustable, the view of the target is bright and clear and sharp. It is light and easy to carry. I use the RF for archery target and 3D and have a 30 yd course taped out using landscaping measure and this RF was dead bang on at 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 yds.I imagine that accuracy will hold out to greater ranges. It has a slope compensator and angle indicator which is essential for long uphill and down hill shots. The cost of this unit is 1/6 of other units that dont do any more.My only concern is that it does not say water resistant which might be of concern in the rain but that is to be determined.I am very happy with this range finder, it was a good purchase for the money and does exactly what I need it to do and accurately.
