This portable air conditioner is placed in my reading room. It is great quality and easy to operate. I turned it on and it was quiet and cooled the room quickly. This portable air conditioner also has an automatic on/off timer which I like. It is a great value for money.

The media could not be loaded. This compact portable AC unit is great because this past summer my tenants AC broke and didn’t have cooling and the fans were not enough. This unit is my emergency kit in case I need to set up temporary cooling for them while the HvAC tech fix the main unit. It’s ready to go right out the box and can work with many windows. The design is easy to understand and not too heavy to carry around. I can see someone having a small studio to use this to cool their unit as well. It’s great to have for emergency cooling.

i like how it is quiet and easy to set up. You can move it around easily. Almost no installation needed. I think this works great within a bedroom or living room that are about 700 sq ft big.

Perfect for bedroom or so, comes with remote, had for over one year, works fine.

Lugged it up a flight of stairs & installed it myself. It makes my bedroom cold but the thing is loud; freight train loud with a high pitch squealing sound. I considered returning it for that reason but we’re having triple digit heat with nights only getting down to the 80’s so I guess I’ll live with it. When this one stops working I’m not sure I would purchase it again.

Good for ac, but I've ran dehumidifier for the last year.. never has filled up with water once.. not even a drop.. makes me room very cold though! Also, I live in a climate of 60-80% humidity.

This was a lifesaver for me this past summer. I don't deal with the heat very well and used this every single day. It was on most of the day and night as well.My landlord told me the energy bills were barely affected so I'll just have to trust him on that since I didn't see for myself.I only ever had it on the lowest setting and that was plenty cold.I have it in a bedroom about 12' x 14'.It's easy to set up and connect to the window. Took maybe 15min. I have windows that slide side to side. About 3.5ft high. The window piece and the hose were both plenty long.Would probably depend on your area and weather but where I am, the air is pretty dry I'm guessing because I didn't have to empty the water tray once. So it would be hard for me to comment on that area. I did check it often thinking maybe it just wasn't notifying me..but no water.It's kinda heavy for one person to lift so i used a dolly and got this up to my apartment on my own. Once in the bedroom, it was easy enough to push it around on the wheels. It doesn't take a ton of room but you do some extra space around the unit to accommodate the vents. And the hose is a little bulky.Filter on the side slides out easily for cleaning.It's not super quiet but also not terribly loud. It took some time to get used to it coming on in the middle of the night to maintain the temperature. I didn't care too much after a while. I also had it pretty close to my bed so it might be better across the room.Whatever minor inconveniences this thing has, the benefits far outweigh them. I was so thankful it worked on arrival and works well!

My apartment is pretty small; but get super hot! This little ac unit cools great! Although you do need a window to displace the hot air! If you want to have this in a central room without a window definitely order more pipe!
