I was going to buy a MUCH more expensive deck box but decided to try this one first. I COULD NOT BE HAPPIER as it is not only beautiful but strong and well made. I put it together by myself in about 45 minutes. If you pay attention and don’t reverse the side panels, it won’t take you as long. I seriously don’t know what is wrong with the people who write bad reviews. My box arrived in a couple of days, the 6 flat sides were well packed and in perfect condition. Great instructions. No issues. This deck box is so much nicer than a plastic one and it’s not $1200. Boom. Don’t hesitate. It’s even $20 less than when I bought mine. Ive ordered teak oil to preserve the look.

Beautiful wood and design, was easy to assemble, came well packaged, hinges hold the lid up securely, lid operates smoothly, good design. The slotted bottom allows rain water to exit the storage area, I'll be interested to see what the finish looks like by the end of the summer, right now it's very nice.

Easy assembly, even my 18-month old son was able to put it together. Nice looking bench; perfect outside by our firepit.

Beautiful addition to our patio. Hides my kids’ toys and miscellaneous gardening items, while blending in perfectly with the patio chairs and swing. This was quick and easy for my husband and I to assemble and unlike other reviewers, we did not have issues with the screws.

We wanted a chest on the patio to put the tv on. This looks great and is doing the job well. I will say it is not water proof. I think you will really like it.

The container was easy to assemble, probably about 20 mins or work. Requires a screwdriver but includes a small hex wrench. Easier to install with your own wrench. The end result looks great. Overall I would recommend this.
