I have every other Burts Bees lip product so I thought I would try the new lipstick. I have fair skin so thought Blush Basin might work for me. It does! It's a very soft dusty pink, not too matte and not greasy looking either. It's a bit deeper than my natural lip color which I like. So far it's lasted a few hours and looks great! Worth the money and I will buy again! Another Winner from Burts Bees!

Best lipstick I've tried in ages. The color is as I expected (and exactly what I wanted) and it goes on nicely, smooth and even with good (though not heavy) coloring. I do have to reapply often, and it does come off a bit on glasses when fresh - but I don't feel that plasticy grease most lipsticks leave behind nor have any strange taste. I hope this colorway is a permanent line as I finally have a lipstick I use.

PERFECT COLOR - pinkish fuchsia. Not a deep fuchsia color - very soft but enough fuchsia to complement my burgundy hair. Lots of compliments from friends. LOVE LOVE LOVE it. Also, i'm over 50 so very dark lipstick is unflatternig on me. This give a bit of a splash of color without going overboard. Also, no offensive taste whatsoever. I'm super sensitive and I don't even know I"m wearing it. I'm a huge fan. Once I ordered one that had some pieces of sand or grit in it but I hadn't bought that one on Amazon (got it at a major pharmacy chain) and I didn't bother returning it. But I've had this 6 times since and no problems.

Lipstick is my favorite makeup item. I've been looking for a nice neutral color that is lighter than colors I've used I'm.the past. I like moist lip colors that have a touch of pink, but not a pink that is bright or too light and with a hint of a light brown. This color, Blush Basin #501, is in the Satin Lipstick line from Burt's Bees, and is advertised as 100% natural. The lipstick is cased in a very sturdy plastic case that shows the color on the outside. Blush Basin is moist, pretty and not easy to wipe off with a tissue, so it lasts. It is flattering and is a cream, moist lipstick that is not matte. I'm very happy with this purchase.

I LIVE for red lipsticks. I’ve always been looking for a more natural brand and I came across this. I bought the red and I fell in love. Super easy to apply. Soft. My only complaint is not being able to find a lip liner from this company to help with bleeding. But I will continue to buy from this brand and, hopefully, get more colors soon!

I’ve always loved Burts Bees products, so when I saw that they had a matte lipstick line, of course I looked forward to trying it out. First off, the color is flattering- not overboard or too understated where you have to add pencil to pull it all together. It’s perfect. Also, I got the nude color to try and cover some lip freckles- Voila! Gone! Long lastingly and very moisturizing to boot. Burts hasn’t let me down yet!!

I am in love with this color! I found it at Whole Foods, and then saw that amazon (although technically the same company) had it for much cheaper! Delivery was prompt (as always with Amazon prime), and I have never been so happy with a lipstick. It is definitely not the same as chapstick, I put chapstick on over often. It’s a matte finish. It lasts for hours. Obvious motions like eating, drinking, or smoking are going to make the lipstick wear faster, obviously, but the lipstick also tints your lips. So, even when the bold color is gone your lips are still tinted!

I bought "Lily Lake" #530. The lipstick is very creamy and moist. It is a bit more moisturizing than the average lipstick, but doesn't have the vaseline-like feel of lip gloss. This isn't sticky at all. There is quite a bit of pigment, though this color is a medium shade of pink, so it isn't real showy. It's a more natural look. The swatch that you see when you're ordering is a very accurate depiction of the shade. I have very pale, dry skin and this is a good amount of moisture for me. I would like to try a deeper shade.

I normally do not wear lipstick because lipsticks tend to break out the skin around my lips. Typically I will only wear lipstick when I'm upset with my husband because he refuses to kiss me with lipstick on and when I'm angry, I don't want him to kiss me anyway. This lipstick however, is so pretty, smooth, and doesn't irritate my skin. I find that I wear it even when I'm not upset with my husband.
