EDT is the least concentrated form of fragrance oil in the bottle by volume. Hence, the lower price, and it is not as long-lasting on the body. Eau de Toilette (EDT): Contains 5% to 15% fragrance oils. It is lighter and often used for casual or daytime wear. Eau de Parfum (EDP): Contains 15% to 20% fragrance oils. It is richer and more intense than EDT, making it suitable for evening wear or special occasions. Parfum: Also known as Extrait de Parfum, it has the highest concentration of fragrance oils, typically 20% to 30%. This makes it the most potent and long-lasting option at the top of the fragrance hierarchy. Longevity EDT: Generally lasts 3 to 5 hours on the skin. EDP: Lasts 6 to 8 hours or more.
