The bench is a beautiful piece; however, it stated that it was waterproof and the first rain storm the storage bag was wet inside and out even though it was velcroed to the sides and zipped. So it is NOT waterproof! Therefore it doesn't serve the purpose it was purchased for and the cushions ended up wet.

I bought this bench for extra seating on my deck, while storing the wood pellets for my smoker safe, dry and out of sight. This is a nice, solid, sturdy bench. Assembly was easy (one person, no drama) except for attaching the hinges to the seat/storage lid - I needed help for that. It is heavy and I am very comfortable seating two adults on it. The wood is nicely finished and very attractive. Totally happy with my purchase!

It was a perfect fit! Tools are provided to put it together but having a drill and clamp wrench made assembly so much easier!

This bench is durable and very smart looking. I am very pleased with the quality.

I looked at most of the benches on this site, I wanted storage, wood, and something that would last. I kept coming back to this bench, I am very pleased with my choice. My husband put it together, with a little help from me. He then put a clear coat to protect it from the weather. We live in a rather mild climate, it is on our patio so may get some rain on it when the wind blows. The storage bag inside is a good size for chair cushions and other things.

I was nervous to spend so much money on something I couldn't see or feel in person but I'm glad I did! I've been looking for a storage bench for two years and this one is exactly what I wanted. Very pleased. Husband said the screws were cheap and stripped when he was installing but he was able to use others from his shop.

I truly loved this when I saw it and had to have it it fits perfect for where we wanted it, pretty easy to put together( from what my husband says) he did say it would been easier with 2 people though.. it’s sturdy and the color is perfect, it has slots on seat so yes water will go through it but the “cover” inside looks like it drains the water pretty well haven’t had a bad rainstorm yet to know 100% yet though. But I would definitely buy again with how it is so far !

I was looking for something to cover a window well because I have a small backyard and wanted to utilize as much space as I could and still have outside access if needed. I found a suggestion to safely cover a window well using furniture. When I saw this bench I knew it was just what I needed. Now, not only can I use this area as a seating option, but this bench is beautiful, strong, and the seat lifts for easy access to store pillows, tools, lawn equipment, etc. The wood is weather-treated but I will cover it during the winter so that it will last for years to come. I've had many compliments on the bench. I love it!

This is a beautiful wooden bench. Dimensions listed are all accurate. Easy to install in no time. Perfect storage for my hot tub stuffs and outdoor toys like jump ropes etc. does not take up a big chunk of space clumsily, love it. The seller is very responsive and helpful in questions.

This useful little bench is sturdy and solid, and serves nicely as both a place to sit on the front stoop and for delivery people to leave packages. It was possible - though a little tricky - to put together with just one person, and would have been a breeze with two. After assembling, I gave it a good rub with teak oil and so far it is maintaining its color nicely. If you prefer a cushion, you need to buy a cushion separately. And because the bench is slightly smaller than standard (a plus for me as it fit well in a smaller space), I found the selection of cushions that fit somewhat limited. But overall I am very pleased with this purchase.
