I purchased this mandoline a couple of years ago and just bought another one as a Christmas gift. It is somewhat compact... No slicing plates to store. With a twist of the knob on the side, the thickness of the slice can be adjusted. (no Also, there is a button on the side that can change the slicing into julienne. I was excited to find it on Tanga at such a decent price.

Makes cutting veggies so much easier! Love you can adjust the cutting size and it’s very easy to clean as well! So easy to use! This is my new favorite kitchen tool!!
Love the mandoline. It Is simple to operate and stored easily in the cabinet. I used it the first day to slice onions for French onion soup. What an easy way to do it.
